WEEKLY REFLECTION 22/07/2024 TO 26/07/2024 22 July 2024 to 27 July 2024 was the final week of the teaching practice. During this period all the models of teaching were completed. Questions for the achievement test were prepared, and the test was conducted on 26 July to test the students' best understanding level.   The last day for the second phase of teaching practice was 26 July 2024. It was quite a memorable few weeks with the students and teachers of MVGVHSS, Peroor. I am very much grateful to be a part of the teaching fraternity of this esteemed even if it is for a few weeks. I am thankful to the teachers for the support and guidance given to me during this phase of my learning process, I am sure that all the good knowledge  I imparted from here will help me in building a successful career. Thanks!!!

 

WEEKLY REFLECTION 15/07/2024 TO 19/07/2024 The classes this week went quite well. I could render the ideas most effectively to a great extent. I firmly believe that the students were able to follow my classes effectively. This week I continued the activities from last week, students were very enthusiastic and very cooperative in completing the activities.  I asked students to present what they had understood from the chapters and this helped me acknowledge to what extent students understood their lessons 15 July 2024 was observed as World Youth Skills Day, to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work and entrepreneurship. A special assembly was conducted in the school on this occasion to make students understand the importance of the day. The headmistress made a speech in the assembly about the topic and was very informative.

WEEKLY REFLECTION 08/07/2024 TO 12/07/2024 During this week activities related to unit 1 "Hours and Years" started. I made sure the active involvement of all students in the tasks given to them related to unit 1. These activities provide the students with a better understanding of the chapters in the unit in a new and engaging way. 11 July 2024 was World Population Day, a special speech was made on this occasion to give awareness to students about the population hike in the world and the impact it creates in society. India is one of the largest populated countries in the world, it is very important to make our children aware of the current world situation and the importance of growing as global citizens

 

  WEEKLY REFLECTION   01/07/2024 TO 05/07/2024 During this week, I took a new poem "Nothing Twice" written by Wislawa Szymborska. I used I.C.T. for interestingly taking the class. The poem was taken completely using two days. After that, I took an innovative lesson plan on the same poem. The way of teaching was entirely changed when I took the innovative lesson plan. I could take classes with good confidence. I believe that the students were able to understand my classes well. The use of I.C.T. oriented lesson plans contributed to the class to a great extent On 05 July 2024, Basheer Dinam was observed to commemorate the renowned Malayalam writer Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. A Malayalam quiz was organised based on the works of the legendary writer, this will help familiarise  the students with Basher's work and help them to enter into the world of reading.
